Coextruded Blown Film

NEX Performance Films produces a wide variety of three-layer coextruded films for a variety of markets. The ability to tailor specific properties in specific layers of the film can provide an advantage in certain applications. Adding MVTR barrier properties, specialty peel able sealants, stiffer core materials, and the ability to limit the use of cost sealant resins in one layer of the film are all advantages to coextruded films. We provide three layer coextruded films for a  wide range of packaging applications. Some of these would include a variety of lid stock applications with specific peel properties, high MVTR barrier films for wipes packaging (typically with high performance seal layers), shallow and deep draw forming webs for medical device packaging, and a variety of films used for Stand up Pouch sealant applications.

All of our coex lines offer multi component gravimetric blending, which allow us to blend up to 18 different components in a three-layer film. This way, our product design team can create products with very specific physical properties to suit your application.
