NEX Performance Films Participates in UMass-Lowell Engineering Career Fair

Corporate Quality Manager Laurie Ford and Technical Product Manager Dave Constant recently participated in the UMass-Lowell (UML) Engineering Career Fair on Oct. 26th in Lowell, MA.  Their objective was to look for 2 upper class Plastics Engineering students to each fill 6 month Co-Op slots at the Turners Falls plant, starting in January 2012.  According to UML’s website update, published shortly after the Fair, “More than 90 companies were on hand to recruit students with cutting-edge technology and business skills. They included Fortune 500 corporations, midsize firms and emerging businesses and represented a range of industries.  At least 600 students attended, looking for both full time and Co-Op experience opportunities.  And of the 90 companies, approximately 25 were recruiting Lowell’s Plastics Engineering students.”  UML’s Plastics Engineering program is the ONLY fully accredited 4 year Plastics Engineering program in the country, offering BS, MS & PhD degrees.
