NEX Sees Growth in Microwaveable Sealant Films

NEX Performance Films has commercialized their K0236 (now called grade 49406.01) and K0236WH (now called grade 49406.01WH) grade High Temperature Microwaveable Sealant Films with several converters in the US and Canada. These films are typically used in PET laminations and are suitable for use in microwave "cook in" applications. “We continue to see interest in these types of products and expect considerable growth of the 49406.01/49406.01WH films in 2012” says Glenn Harsh, VP of Sales. “The desire for convenience in the preparation of meals at home continues to drive growth in this category.”
