• Co-Founder of specialty blown film company involved in high-barrier applications unique to market including novel use of MDO (machine direction orientation)

• Barrier Films Expert - focused on high performance products for Food and Medical applications including cheese, forming webs and specialty wipes sealants.

What do you like about your job?
"I like product development because it allows me to solve problems and discover new things. I love getting to visit customers to see what they do with our film and help them succeed. Also it touches on so many parts of the business, from understanding production, and costs, to dealing with sales and customers."  

How did you get into packaging?
"I got into packaging sort of by chance. I love science and engineering and I always thought plastic was cool stuff, so when I got an offer from a leading company in the film extrusion business I jumped at it and like many in our business it has been my passion ever since."

What are your hobbies outside of work?
"I love to play volleyball and ride a bike and on those long winter days (and there are a lot of them in Wisconsin), I keep busy making furniture or doing other woodworking projects".
