Jim is the Shipping Lead at our Milton Facility. He is responsible for shipping, receiving, and managing all incoming and outgoing freight. Jim also manages the warehouse operations, and keeps track of railroad shipments and silo operations.
What do you like about your job?
“I enjoy seeing the Resin (Raw Materials) turn into the finished product that we ship out to our customers. I also enjoy the logistics part of my job.”
How did you get into Packaging?
“I kind of got into the packaging industry by chance. I was working at Con-Way Freight and I found NEX’s freight interesting. I checked out their website and saw that they were hiring and that is when I applied for the Shipping Manager position here at NEX. The Milton location was also a lot closer to my house & to be working days instead of nights made it any easy decision.”
What are your hobbies outside of work?
“In my free time I enjoy Hunting, Fishing, Trap Shooting, working on Cars, ATV riding, playing sports, and going to sporting events-Packers & Brewer Games.”
