What does your job entail at NEX?
“I work with the best converters in the country. Understanding and communicating their needs to our team is the most significant part of my job."
What do you like about your job?
“Working with the customers, and being on site with the customers. I enjoy learning from the customer operators.”
How do you describe NEX to your friends/family?
“We are the fast, focused and flexible supplier of sealant layer films to the best converters in the United States. We are all around you and you don’t know it. When you pick up a package at the supermarket, our film is ‘the stuff on the inside’ that holds the contents in the package. We are a silent and critical component of many packages in the marketplace.”
Example of something our company did that had a positive impact on a customer?
“We do fantastic things every day, so to single out one instance is not fair to all the other great things our team does. We have great technical and customer service people who work every day to meet challenges presented, either through product design or quick turn around on orders. My favorite thing is to share an e mail message from a customer thanking our team for meeting a customer request, whatever that is. It’s the most enjoyable part of my job."
What are your favorite hobbies outside of work?
“FOOTBALL!! We attend every Badger home game and some away games. And we try to get to Lambeau for at least one game a year. During the summer I enjoy traveling recreationally to watch triathlons that our son participates in. I participate in a half marathon at a fun location each year tied in with some vacation time. Winter is skiing. My job requires sitting in airports on occasion, so I knit to relax. I think I could link the number of items knitted to delayed flights.”
